They're all highly addictive anti anxiety medications that nearly every
alcoholic who takes abuses and the withdrawal symptoms from them usually
lands those that abuse them in the hospital for extended stays. Your taking
an alcoholic who's self medicating with a legal addictive non prescription
drug (alcohol) so they can deal with the world and replacing it with a
doctor prescribed addictive drug so they can deal with the world instead of
teaching the how to deal without drugs.
Unless you proscribe to the theory that many in alcoholics anonymous seem to
have about deviation from their primary purpose, which seems to be we don't
give a fuck what you put into your body as long as it's not alcohol.
They're trying to raise the dismal success rate they have lately, when all
they're really doing is driving off the cross addicted younger crowd with
they're crusty old bastard attitudes.
