Hi Gregg.
Thank you for your post and for sharing your experiences. May I ask--did you
see a doctor prior to quitting, or did you stop on your own?
I also appreciate the list of groups: I was completely unaware that Smart,
LSR, and MM existed. I Googled all. MM really caught my attention, but it's
too early for me to think about moderation. I like Smart's approach, but
I'll probably try AA first as it is so accessible.
