You just reminded me of something. Thanks. When I was in my first 2
weeks of sobriety, I realized I didn't like god much. My sponsor just
suggested that I go to meetings, but my real awakening came when I started
on my business trip, on day 13 of my sobriety.

On that drive, I drove through the Mojave desert and on to Flagstaff, AZ.
At this point, I stopped in the alano club and realized that I had nothing
to do with making any of it, but had plenty to do with damaging my own
life. I'm also reminded of a cartoon over the urinal of the Fullerton,
California alano club. "If you feel far from god, who moved?"
