Please please could someone help me with advice about liver disease. I have
been reading various websites about it and am absolutely scared to death. I
need info from people who have been there please.

I have been a heavy drinker for some time, and although I have had elevated
blood tests it hasn't stopped me.

However recently I have been drinkng excessively even by my standards, and
am now getting scary symptoms. The main one being an ache in my stomach just
below my right hand side ribs. I also have pains in my back which feel like
regular back pain, but have been persistant and move about a bit but is
mainly on my right hand side of my body and slightly to the rear at about
rib level. I am also vomiting, even though I have not had a drink for a
couple of days now. It is a clear liquid and I am guessing it is bile.

Please please could somebody tell me if they had these symptoms and whether
the problem is liver disease. I am hoping that it is just my body still
flushing away the toxins of the past. But I am really scared.
