To be fair, I'm suspecting that it's high. From what I perceive,
Rosie seems to be one of those I see in meetings who will leech the
newcomer but won't take a sponsee unless that individual is clearly
willing to do everything demanded of them (some sponsors even have the
sponsees mowing lawns, cleaning toilets, etc. as "service"). In some
quarters it's called "strong sponsorship", in others it's called
"controlling", in others it's called "co-dependency". Woe betide a
relapsing sponsee! Can be a sure way to make some sponsors appear
angry, because they can have a high dependency on the newly-sober for
their own sobriety.

The next question should be, how many sponsees dump the sponsor after
a year or so because they feel stifled by all the controlling? That
number is often also high among the controlling sponsors. Getting any
of them to admit this reality would be another matter, of course.

So hard sponsors probably have a role to play, as do sponsors who can
really show how to work the program. They're not the same thing. A
hard sponsor who understands, and can guide another through, the
program is a rarity.
